This wine has a wild origin story.  Originally called “Taffy”, it was a project I did with my then seven year old daughter.  I asked her to design a label and I would make a wine that matches it.  Some of you may recall that lavender label with silver foil arrows and a kid scrawled “taffy” in the corner hiding under a rainbow.  (Yeah, I miss it, too.) Now with a grown up label. Ha! 30 days on the skins and then to puncheon where it rests for 10 months. Autumnal, spicy Campari, blood orange.
