60% Chardonnay/40% Sauvignon Blanc

After experimenting in 2019 with making a Cheverny Blanc style Chard/Sauv Blanc blend and having it exceed all expectations I am happy (relieved?!) to announce I went all in and made Foo’s Gold a permanent member of the household.

While Sauvignon Blanc tended to rule the roost in the past, the 2023 stand’s out due to the historically high contribution of Chardonnay. This is a much more bourgie expression than any vintage prior with refined and sophisticated apparel - as if it’s going on a first date. Or a job interview to be your new confidant.
